I also fell off but jumped into the last chapter when I saw it posted and It ended with the two of them going into space after the power of love broke the FMC out of a statue she has become so at least it kept it's trajectory. Well, at least I can say it had a better ending than extremely similar manga Super Dreadnaught Girl. It was almost the exact same premise but the romance was even worse and the author tried to add a love triangle or something with the main character's adoptive sister? It was -seriously- gross. At least it sounds like Onideka never went -that- far into weird territory.
