the Model 3 is the one with the snow scoop, bumper ejection system, windows that freeze shut, doors which cannot be opened due to the handles freezing flush with the panel, and no battery heater. it was clearly not tested outside of Southern California. the Model S and Model X are fine in the cold, they just have shorter ranges and slower charge rates than they otherwise would due to the battery heaters sucking down energy.
