they've done it before during press conferences, but im not sure why. maybe it "clears the air" of people who follow them so they only see new tweets about new stuff instead of a backlog of old stuff if they haven't checked the timeline lately?

who the gently caress is going to pay for this, and why wasn’t it announced the day it went live? why should anyone care about original content on a streaming service that is yet to prove itself. it took years for Netflix to slowly build a reputation for their original content. this is going to be a ping level of failure except it will have cost them hundreds of millions of dollars.
