I didn’t mind playing through the game backwards as Dante because he played differently enough from Nero but I dunno if I would want to do it again two more times. I did play a little bit as Vergil though and his moveset was cool.

Trish plays completely different to Lady (the difference is more stark than Dante -> Nero) so I’d say that’s worth playing through at least.

dmc4 is cool but I don't see any reason to ever play it again really now that dmc5 is out. a remaster of 1 and 3 with the slick 5 gameplay systems would be godly

When I saw the giant logo stick in the thumbnail I assumed it was like wrapping paper that would fly off to reveal a real arcade stick underneath. This is sad.

Hype for this but hope they don't rush it out. Original Nemesis is not the instant classic that RE2 was, imo.... they did a really, really good job with what they added on to RE2 but making a Nemesis remake hit those same standards will require some deeper changes. Capcom's been killing it though so I will stay optimistic.

It's going to be harder, the city layout is much more dense and detailed than a police station/sewer etc. I'm not expecting a lot and its probably going to be a poo poo cash grab of the RE2 success and have multiplayer and poo poo. So whatever. Hope its good but whatever. So it goes - vonnegut
