My man Tim Bradley says he would be open to coming back to boxing for a fight against Khan or Spence. I'm not sure I'd want him taking a crack at Spence, but imo there was always unfinished business between him and Khan and I'd still be interested in that match today.

Iirc for specific fights (mainly main events championship bouts) the promoters will pay for testing from an outside organization like VADA or USADA where testing occurs within a certain window before the fight. Otherwise its just post fight urine testing from whatever athletic commission the fight takes. Some fighters have opted to do year round random testing with VADA like Canelo after clenbuterolgate and Nonito Donaire during his 2012 fighter of the year run

If a Da Zone is a service you have (shout outs to Richard Dwyer and Ninth Layer) hot stuff this week with Srisaket Sor Rungvisai-Gallo Estrada 2 and Danny Roman-TJ Doheny on Friday. SSR-Estrada being a rematch of 2 pound for pound caliber guys who put on a fight of the year contender last year. Roman and Doheny are trying to unify belts at junior featherweight and are both exciting unbeatens looking to take a big step in the lower weighrs. And the wbss is back on Saturday with semifinals at junior welter and bantamweight with Regis Prograis vs Kiryl Relikh and Nonito Donaire vs Zolani Tete. Prograis seems on the verge of a breakout and will be tested by Relikh but will probably will have to wait until the final against either Josh Taylor or Ivan Baranchyk to break out. Nonito tries to continue his Cinderella run after he got the win over Ryan Burnett when Burnett suffered a non contact back injury. Tete has been around on the scene for a while but tends to run hot and cold and didn't look too impressive in his quarterfinal win.

It's Manny Pacquiao against an undefeated guy in the top 5 of welterweight. If they put the Broner fight on PPV this at least is better than that one. It's also a fight that three years ago I didn't think would ever have any shot at happening. May as well get out my early pick: I think Manny wins. Thurman's never fought a guy who moves as well going forward as Manny does and I think he will struggle to keep away from him for twelve rounds.

Abel and GGG were had a good training relationship that helped them both and while I think it's probably GGG to move on to another guy, it's unfortunate that they didn't split on great terms apparently. Sanchez has pretty consistently griped and complained any time a fighter parts ways with him, so I imagine that's a driving element of the drama here, but I think Golovkin has pretty much gotten everything he was going to get from Sanchez. He'll probably miss the set up Big Bear though.

The WBC has announced that Errol Spence vs Shawn Porter is “official”, so I guess it is ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Coppinger agrees. Porter is a bulldog but Spence should clearly outclass him over 12 and might even stop him late.

If these fights come to pass its neat that pbc was able do basically a mini wbss at welterweight (Pac-Broner, Thurman-Lopez, Spence-Mikey, Porter-Ugas). Throw in Danny Garcia as alternate.

This means that the earliest Spence will fight Crawford is after 2 fights, because you know he's certainly going to fight Thurman if Thurman beats Pac and if that doesn't happen he probably fights Garcia.so we'll be well into 2020 before Crawford is even on the table. Crawford meanwhile has a few poor in house options to look at and a few outside options. There is some talk that he might end up fighting Garcia first, simply because Garcia's been locked out of the immediate lineup of fights, but I doubt that comes together any time soon.
