Good stuff. Here's some more Latin American stuff from Argentina, where they had a pretty big psych rock scene in the 70s:

La Cofradia De La Flor Solar - Full Album. The first track is great. this album began my interest into the South American psych scene. I found it in a record store (maybe Wuxtry) in Athens Georgia when I was getting married. They had it sitting on a counter at checkout and the cover caught my eye. I gave it a listen and bought it without even finishing the first track.

Vox Dei - Genesis (an amazing track).

Argentina has always been cool. They had lots of psyche rock in the 90s and 00s too. Santos Inocentes' first album is still a stone classic

Black Mountain is always going to be about Bright Lights for me:

(also tyrants from the same album: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KHXe2QPmCS0 )

also by them as Pink Mountantops (more indie, straight-up rock)

Finally, respect the classics!

Love Black Mountain, wish they'd do another Pink album though

Talking of which, I listened to Boris' Pink for the first time in years the other day and his drat I forgot how perfect that record is. A bit more metal than psych rock but still plenty psychedelic, especially the first and last tracks.

I like everything Boris has done but kinda wish they'd go back to that sound

Very bummed about Roky. Was lucky enough to see him twice. Once soon after the release of the last album, and once doing mostly elevators stuff.

maybe not as fried as some of the stuff in here, but here is some rural psych for you all

relatively clean rivers- beat of the earth frontman's side project, sounds like 1969 in 1975. excellent songs and guitar work, one of my favorite albums ever. original LPs were going for $1500+ before their rediscovery and reissue. definitely a lost classic:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5CwTcCc_Qks

rose city band- wooden shjips 'go country', deceptively psychedelic stuff here, some of it sounds a little like JJ Cale

Its more Stoner metal with psychadelic overtones but its supremely loving good regardless of what you want to classify it as.

When no one was looking, Serval took forty Japari buns. She took 40 buns. That's as many as four tens. And that's terrible.
I was at Eindhoven Fuzz club festival last month and it was friggin amazing.
I was introduced to this band from Brazil on a comedown and I fell in love instantly.
I've been addicted ever since. Unfortunately, most people I show this band to seem to dislike them but drat they've become one of my most favourite bands. Face melting bass lines.

One can hope, though I bought the Porn Crumpets new album on CD simply because it's more readily available.

Here's some other stuff I've been listening to lately that may loosely fit the definition of psychedelic rock:

https://youtu.be/ObU_bDemki8
Graveyard, particularly this album, Peace.

https://youtu.be/11HTmruH6tE
Svvamp

And the classic Leafhound
https://youtu.be/pYxE2lY_vmM

I'm having a suprisingly hard time finding modern bands in the psychedelic hard rock mode. I have tried Kadavar which came from the recommendation thread here, and it was okay, but not quite enough to make me go buy a copy. Maybe I am just too picky when it comes to music?

Wand's first two albums (Ganglion Reef and Golem) have some of my favorite heavy psych guitar in recent memory. All of their albums are great, however their more recent albums are more reliant on texture and traditional songwriting structure rather than riffs and heroic soloing. Their singer/guitarist Cory Hanson also released a great psych folk solo record called The Unborn Capitalist From Limbo.

you may find more stuff along the lines of the above in the Stoner/Doom/Sludge thread, which has a lot of overlap with this thread.

Check out Orchid, perfectly in-line with these three. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XOhqGBI8mVk

additionally, Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sM8sJMeOmIo

and Child https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tNdH33ncOZs

if you want to go further into heavy/riffy with still a good amount of psych, Dead Roots Stirring By Elder is a staple. releases from that point on get more proggy than heavy, but still pretty nice to listen to in a dark room (I like Golder and Silver Sessions the most after DSR)

Believe me I keep a close eye on the S/D/S thread and the Metal thread for the lighter stuff. I forget which one The Sword was brought up in, but they're pretty solidly heavy metal/stoner anyways.

And then there's this band I stumbled into: https://desertsuns.bandcamp.com/album/desert-suns that can be argued endlessly as to which thread they should be in, probably more doom.

Thanks for the recommendations all, Orchid is exactly what I am looking for and I forgot I was told about Uncle Acid.
