It's like he's a 56 year old edgy teen, because it's obvious that he's attempting to offend someone with his shirt that says "don't be a ❄️" but I'm not sure who he's actually going to offend in a shop where everyone is pretty much 45+

Rogue One portrays the Rebels as terrorist extremists. The Sequel Trilogy has The First Order blow up a bunch of defenseless planets, but then shifts to the idea that "hey, war is bad, and these fascists who employ child soldiers are actually not all that bad." I thought that the whole "Clone Army" part of the Republic was supposed to be seen as a bad thing. Like, I understand WHY Disney would do want people to support the authoritarian entity that is built on the backs of children because that's what it is, but I'm kind of surprised how much people have jumped on the bandwagon. However, maybe I'm just crazy.

I think Disney's given the writers enough freedom that they're inadvertently creating contradictory content. JJ Abrams basically remade Episode IV (I could give a detailed plot description and you would never be able to guess which movie I'm referring to), then Weitz, Gilroy, and Johnson make movies about how the Rebels/Resistance are a bunch of gently caress-ups and Rian Johnson's movie just subverts every Star Wars tradition he can until fanboys go ballistic. And then Abrams is probably going to go right back to the formula.

That's entirely possible. It still blows my mind that they don't really have a general outline or movie road map, but I guess they don't really need it since the movies are still making money.

It's simultaneously difficult and easy to imagine what goes on in the minds of people addicted to cosmetic surgery. Like they look in the mirror and find a new perceived "flaw," get it corrected, then find a new one. Rinse and repeat. Then in the end they end up looking like, well, that. I'm sure they are wonderful people personally, I only wonder is if they know how they look to others. Although, do any of us really know that? Anyway, here's a bunch of cows being abused: https://vimeo.com/340292407?ref=fb-share&fbclid=IwAR3CqECITWcvhLFgBDMpc82J-hF8_XZFYQ6mtmnla-nY_-FhwUc9ylZ48xI
