Yeah apparently my entire neighborhood is at minimum 8th/9th decile so uh. Statistics on drugs, alcohol, et. al. are terrible because they are taboo in the USA to admit to using/doing, so people say they “don’t” when they very loving much do.

I don't see myself as a big drinker and eighth decile? get hosed. seven drinks a week is around half of the medically suggested limit. so even up to the ninth decile you're still a regular drinker, just one with a safe and reasonable habit. 15 drinks a week is where a doctor would start gently suggesting you maybe cut back a little. it's the small number of heavy problem drinkers that pull all the stats way into alcoholic territory

Why are these cats in a cabinet, though ? e: Just realised it's probably a pet shop, and that's what the cages look like.

In animal shelters, cats who can share space with other cats spend some time in cages like these so that potential adopters can see them being adorable. Just left of frame there is probably a hole in the platform that they can climb through to visit with their downstairs neighbor if they wish.

I drink if there's like, a social reason to do so. Restaurants, parties, after works etc I never drink alcohol otherwise. It aint even that good why would I bother with it. When I was younger it was strictly a tool used to get drunk but now that I don't care about getting drunk as much alcohol is really mostly just pointless trash
