Woolie and Pat have already announced that they're taking over the RSS feed with a new podcast called Castle Super Beast. They aren't gonna launch it proper until things have been sorted out and the fallout has settled. But there's an heir to the throne at least. Woolie also launched a podcast within the last month called Woolie Will Figure It Out; though it's more of a shooting the poo poo and talking about personal projects than a video game specific podcast.

It was the most extremely bittersweet feeling, especially for Remo who was a big GFW fan. As one of those listeners who came to Idle Thumbs to fill the void, don’t sell yourselves short. Most podcasts take a while to get good, but I feel like you guys found your groove astonishingly quickly and I was hooked after the first few eps and went on to love IT as much if not more than GFW.

Yeah it was weird I was reading that article and then last night I watched the launch stream for the new titan fall BR game and tina sanchez from one up was one of people there. I don't think she was actually on gfw but I hadn't thought about her for 10 years. I suppose the industry is still pretty small.

I'm still working myself through the crate and crowbar back catalogue. Another brilliant section is when they do the quake asmr with all the different weapon sounds. This culminates in tom telling the story of being in secondary school. Him and his mates were reading a copy of pc gamer and looking at pictures of the game and being massively hyped on the train. Later that day he was called into the head masters office and some one had seen recognised their uniforms and seen them reacting to a magazine they thought must have been porn. Now that is a game journalist in the making.
