Brats are a regional item. Some places have Italian sausage instead but some have nothing

I know brats are regional but they were tied to the polish at my location. We lost the brat and got the polish, and then when the polish was completely discontinued we got the brat back. I don't recall a "regional" replacement during that timeframe, and that sucks. I guess they couldn't have 3 boiled meat tubes on the menu.

Brats are so much better than the polish. I don't miss the polish at all. Unlike the other regional foods you can get the brat instead of a hotdog and 20oz soda (with refill) for $1.50.

Side note: I bought some brats from a 70 year old butcher shop in a town of 1,100 people for the 4th and HOLY poo poo they're sooooooo much better than a Johnsonville brat! They were about $0.25 more a piece than the Johnsonville's. Sure, bumping up the price from $0.75 to $1.00 is a huge percent increase, but they were well worth the extra quarter.

Double side note: that town can support 2 ancient meat markets, with a pop of 1,100, 'cause people will drive 20 miles to buy their meat.

I'm not man enough to commit to buying the entire giant loving container. I love my share of weird asian food, but when I was in Taiwan some of the snack foods were a bit too wild for me. Which is fine when you're traveling, but I'm not trying to waste like 2 pounds of dried fish if I don't like it...

I went to the Co for the second time in as many days and bought some 400 thread count sheets, 2 27 gallon totes for $6.99 each, a rotisserie chicken, and 2 baguettes to eat with the chicken and the bagged salad that I bought yesterday. PBUC.

There's a ton of actual good food in Disney, but it's very isolated from the bland poo poo. The best places tend to be in the resorts and in Disney Springs. Otherwise, yes it's very much catered towards the palette for someone from Ohio

Why doesn't the Midwest like flavor anyway, these people are less than a century removed from parts of Europe that eat all kinds of poo poo that may not be "spicy" but has a lot of flavors

Spicy is for people who want to eat flavored food. And I bet there's some racism thrown in.

Also I went to Cost Company like 2 hours ago. The haul:

- 30 rolls of Charmin's excellent toilet paper for wiping poo poo off of my rear end in a top hat: 18.99 :nice:
- Huge bage of frozen chicken tenderloins
- Big ol' bag of broccoli, for my chicken and broccoli lunches
- Two bigass Kirkland contact lens solutions for only $10
- Wife got the vanillas frozen yogurt. It's good. I was tempted to get a dog+drink but I'm going to the gym in like 3 hours. Next time. It's only $1.35, god drat that's amazing
- Made an appointment with the optometrist there for wife and I on Wednesday.
- Saw one of the cool managers of my office there and said what's up, he was getting new glasses because his other ones broke. Bringing people together!!

Went to Costco a few weeks ago and they didn't have the Exofficio Give n Go boxer briefs anymore 😔 I was really hoping to stock up before the three week vacation I'm on now. Where do I go to request that they bring it back? I also got a bottle of the Costco single batch bourbon for ~$30, it was good but I'm unclear if it was smoother than my usual bourbon buy (Old Forester). Will pull the trigger on the Costcognac next time!

The typical Protestant anti-pleasure attitude contributed to the no flavor thing. These cultures actually have good food with actual flabor when herbs are reintroduced.
