Yeah but I'm sure it doesn't cost anything extra for the characters to speak with natural inflections rather than the stilted, wooden performances that have come out so far.

Also since I've been on a Scooby Doo binge, I've been watching Be Cool, Scooby Doo for the first time having decided to skip it when it first came out.

I don't hate it. The Seth McFarlane-esque art style is kind of jarring (it was the initial reason I avoided the show when it was first airing) and I think some of the jokes are trying way too hard, but I like how each member of the cast is given something to do. Velma's pseudo-educational vignettes are actually a really cool stylistic inclusion that I wish future Scooby Doo incarnations would pick up, and the treatment of the show more like a sitcom with interlocking A and B plots gives the show a looser feel.

No Scooby Doo will probably ever be as good as Mystery Inc but that show was a shooting star too precious to last.

Exploration is ill-advised.
I feel it's best to treat it as a pleasant surprise when a Scooby-Doo thing is good.

The various Scooby movies over the last few years have been mostly pretty good. They also do a pretty good job of homaging the original style without actually being just cheap animation.

Not to be confused with the New Scooby Movies from the 70s.

He plays for the dreamers that forgot how to dream, and the lovers that forgot how to love.
It should be the same cast, but telling grown-up horror stories. The Tale of the Nogo Indigogo. The Tale of the Late Rent Payment. ETC.

So is this a movie? Is the movie a precursor to the show coming back? IMDB is scant with any details. BenDavid (gently caress you) is shown as writing the singular entity and 3 episodes of another entity. Internet searches turn up conflicting information as to what's going on. Biggest question: are they bringing back the nerd from the original show?

Adorabat is just that kind of character as a contrast to MaoMao's reverse (outwardly hard and serious, inwardly soft and vulnerable)

I like it, so does my son. It’s very cute but nothing deep plot-wise yet, just a lot of animal people hijinks and monster-of-the-week fighting.

The best episode is the one where Mao Mao goes to therapy to deal with his daddy issues.

I don't expect it to ever get too deep and I don't think it should. It sorta makes me think of what it would look like if someone ran an rpg campaign for a pair of friends and then someone's younger sibling decides they want to play and they just decide to use the kids toys for props and minis

Craig of the Creek is slowly creeping towards having Lore and idk if it's a good thing or not.

Though I'd probably be more into it if there weren't 400 zillion episodes and I have no idea where I left off.
