and?
It looks like dire actually had a 54% winrate at TI? Radiant had been dominant for a long time, I thought

I wonder when we'll see the first "I've squandered everything" pro player (inside or outside of DOTA). OG have each earned $5-6M, according to Liquipedia, which is undoubtedly a lot of money. But that's before taxes, so if they each realistically took home $2-3M between TI8 + 9 you can blow through that really easily with a single house and a car or two.

Not sure if the conversion to USD to Euro/whatever other funny money works in their favor or not, either.

Sure, but how much can that really be? It'd still be pretty easy to wind up 'upside down' in terms of spending all your winnings and then not being able to afford that lifestyle. I suppose then you just sell it all, but...

It depends on how many family members and/or friends they try to help out and how many and what kind of businesses they try to start. At least, that is what dooms the majority of the other sports millionaires who end up broke.

Navi became used their winnings to build their org.

IG was a team that a Chinese billionaire son made and used their winnings to build up that org.

Alliance and EG members used their winnings to buy back their teams from Twitch and become player owned orgs.

Newbee almost squandered their winnings, but were able to turn it around use it for their org, training facility, youth teams, etc.

Wings org squandered the money 100%, at one point the player’s stopped getting paid because the team made a (failed) investment to try to create a LoL team. The players infamously left the organization and then had so many issues with ACE when trying to join other teams and what not.

Liquid used their winnings to A) get their LoL franchise in the LoL NA LCS as well as build up the org.

OG afaik were able to get better facilities for boot camp, the psychologist and Ana talked about on twitter a few times about investing in crypto lol

We don’t really know exactly what the players have used their money on most of the time but that’s basically it

Yeah it absolutely will for team owners and event organizers and whatnot. I don't think the actual players are generally likely to throw money around like crazy because the current generation didn't really get into whatever game they are playing as like a way to become a millionaire. But I am talking out of my rear end because I don't really know the players.

While a different brand, TheraSpecs absolutely helped me when I was working at a place with fluorescent lighting. My brain/eyes can register that they are flashing and it was giving me bad headaches until I grabbed one of those glasses.

I also have a DXRacer chair and, while it's comfy, I would just get an Aeron if I had to do that purchase over again. :v:

Going through the clips of just his game there's all sorts of little things that come out. Like how one of his very few deaths involves him running solo up the ramp next to the Radiant T2 into four Liquid heroes, which looks like a mistake until you realise the bounties are seconds away and he's drawn Liquid away from all of them so OG can snap them up.

Just went through the shuffle thread on Reddit. The real situations are all downvoted, the fake ones are upvoted.

EG: RTZ, Ramzes, Abed, cr1t, Fly

Decision to kick SumaiL was real. s4 was an obvious kick as he underperformed for the last 6+ months. RTZ has been playing at 75% to allow for SumaiL's farm. RTZ has matured enough were the decision was made to build a team around him, SumaiL tried going to Secret and they rejected. His goal is to play with his bro so expect a SumaiL, Yar, ppd, zfreek, s4/uni stack with C9, TL or Chaos.

Stack goes to Chaos most likely, they'll give ppd the room he needs to win. Kuro, Mir, MC + coach forming their own org (best for all parties involved not just the org and the players). C9 actively trying to put together at T1 team but Jack doesn't know what he's doing. TL will retain some form of a t1 team due to aXomatic slush fund.

Once those become real I'll drop more.

Drunk bonus: MidOne to Fnatic, Solo or Noone (can't remember) are also going West. Dendi back to Na'Vi but with a legit squad around him so on paper they shouldn't be relegated to T2-3 anymore. Empire making serious moves as well.
