thought some of you might enjoy this guy's channel he's a beekeeper in the southern US who records many of his excursions rescuing honeybees from people's houses and other locations. he don't give a single gently caress about getting stung most of the time. I enjoy mandalores videos but whatever politics he holds is totally incoherent (he follows both hbomberguy and ssethtzeentach on twitter). Luckily he never brings any of it up in his videos which allows me to enjoy his analysis in blissful ignorance of whatever those beliefs actually are.

4chains references ahead, but Sssethizimietzeentch is a weird one because I can see why otherwise decent people could tolerate or like them content-wise even opposing their obvious gross bits. He sucks by the obvious "lol happy merchant, ooga booga amirite" joke type stuff, they're basically what the stereotypical "cool /v/ poster" was thought of like before /v/ turned into the abortion that it mostly is now, they use the edgy ~un-PC~ funnies and they just don't care, but they also really know the vidya gaems and can present deep enough, actually well spoken descriptions and recommendations of a game, while making some actual good jokes between the jewrubbinghands.jpg and congolese soldier man mascot ones. Glad I actually previewed my post and this one appeared because yeah, that's what I'm really trying to get at with the last bit, looking at it out of curiousity, as far as I went his twitter seems to be there for posting his videos, teasing his videos and retweeting fanart. It weirded me out when he just out and called the one guy in Morrowind a 'human being' like it was the height of humor, let alone all the other poo poo. I can buy that he is just a time capsule 2007 channer person but theres a point where it stops becoming just that tbh. And even on that front the way he like just repeats Funny Meme Words that he hears like a small child was really obnoxious. I only watched a handful of his videos because people seem to praise the poo poo out of him before tapping out but I remember in one he just keeps calling people in the game 'manlets' for no reason other than it's a Designated Funny Word. It made no sense at all.

Wasps' reputation as evil jersk is overblown. The wasps we have in my area are as docile as bumblebees. Your typical wasp won't bother you unless you bother them. Besides, animals aren't capable of evil. Except Yellowjackets. Evil sumbitches.

Mother's Basement talks about the downsides to TV binge-watching. It's something I've been thinking on and off about for a while now, though my thought process has wandered closer to the way this changes how television is written, in some cases for the worse, than how it affects the conversation around shows and how people sort through what they've just seen, as Geoff describes. I'm glad he talked about Bojack Horseman because I think it strikes a very good balance between episodic and serialized storytelling that I wish was more common in the shows I watch.
