Reading more about this sting it seems like some pretty top notch police work. The girl's mom discovered the texts and alerted the police, who took the time to make absolutely sure it was Vazquez (partially by matching tattoos that appeared in pornographic videos he sent to the girl) and once they had, they moved quickly and quietly enough to be able to seize a bunch of his electronic devices fully intact. I know they're not dealing with a criminal mastermind or anything here but that is still a solid effort on a case where a zillion things could have gone wrong and derailed the whole thing.
