It was more expensive and he couldn't guarantee that the code for the DLC hadn't been used. It's no wonder they've closed down most of their stores in Europe.

I'll stan for Membrane, which is a puzzle platformer with a weird aesthetic. You have to traverse single-screen rooms by shooting blocks to form bridges or ramps to get around the various hazards in each level. The physics work pretty well, the puzzles are well thought out, and there's the occasional difficulty spike, but it's never anything insurmountable. It goes on sale pretty regularly, but I think it's worth it at full price.

GameStop has been one of the scummiest stores around for decades. Back in the day when save data was stored on carts it was common to buy a "new" copy of a game from GameStop still in the shrink wrap, get it home and find save games on the cart. I did enjoy the manager ranting and raving about how downloading games is a fad no one wants when I bought a PSP Go on clearance. In unrelated news, the PSP Go is the best retro games console around and nothing else even comes close.

One of my co-workers was a store manager at a Gamestop where they kept paying her the wage for assistant store manager, didn't let her take the Switch that Gamestop lets store managers have, and gave her the option of either quitting or being fired when she got robbed at gunpoint at the store.

Astral Chain Case 3 gently caress fighting the arms legion. I was trying to do it nice and stylish, but all the gunk everywhere and narrow battlefield meant the battle was going very badly. Until I said screw this and just wailed on him from behind with the sword legion on the opposite side. We killed it hella fast after that. Also, what was that weird gold slime? Is it weird that the gang members hosed me up more than any other encounter so far? Those molotov cocktails hurt...and I was probably underestimating them. Also lol at the guy who was following me to the Burger King when they engaged me.I'm somewhat conflicted on the cop parts. On the one hand I feel like they take a lot of time (possibly too much?), on the other hand I sort of like them and I actually feel pretty good when I successfully finish the entire investigation. It helps fill out the world I guess. Also surely I'm going to change my terrible hair from Fire Emblem Royal Blue to black now. I'll be the emo cop. I'm loving this game.

What are the big 1st party games coming out after Luigis Mansion 3? I've got 1 voucher left I'm gonna use on either that or Pokemon, but I'm debating picking up a few more. Xenoblade 1 comes out like late next year or something probably, so I'm just wondering what's good in between then. It's not exactly a huge saving but by getting 4 vouchers it is almost like 4 games for the price of 3.

I fell off a stage once as well, I think it was against the Cerberus. Golden slime. I wasn't sure if I was doing damage against that thing, but it was super fast so I figured I was missing it most of the time. But that might explain it. At least I did think of taking a picture for the scrapbook.  I can't wait to go further and while I haven't finished yet, I really hope they do another game in the series and further sharpen the game.
