It's definitely inferior to the original in terms of things like, umm, basic quality, and, what, Weezer couldn't afford to rent the 65 or so instruments you hear throughout the Toto version? But I can't imagine 80s pop music jamming any harder than Weezer does on the chorus of that song. Like the cheese meter is set to 115% and they aren't ashamed, and I love it.
