ABs looking rattled so far, not coping with saffa's defense.

Based on fifteen minutes, and knowing there's a long way to go in both this game and the rest of the group stage, England must be thinking their chances at winning the whole lot are getting much better.

Can't remember last time blacks retreated so much with ball in hand.

A shameful kick really. No way should he ever be missing those.

So if NZL are asleep for 80 minutes it's possible to beat them. Good to know.

They've had a sniff and now are destroying the boks.

This game is weird. NZ looked like they had no answer for ~18 mins, then BAM! gently caress y'all* *only applies to opponents, not the fine folk in this thread

If SA want to win this, they need to stop playing at a million MPH and slow things down to their pace.

Absorb the pressure, examine the strategy, adapt the plan, destroy their souls. The cycle of a half.

Bokke scrumhalf ain't great. They're playing the same game Munster played when Rassie and Nienaber were coaches there, but they don't have a Murray at 9.

Faf is such a good scrum half but dulled today.

It doesn't help that the midfield outside him have been playing like simpletons, and I'm not sure there's any forward/backrow movement for him to work with (or he's not calling for it.)

As above, he seems caught in two minds, but considering that period of NZ wizardry I can understand second guessing yourself. Which is what the ABs do brilliantly, make the opposition doubt themselves.

His kicking has been muck since his first two kicks and I don't think the boks have won anything in the air. Now the Abs have righted themselves it's really clear just how out of options the SA attack is.

Don't know if you watched rugby championship this year but NZ are beatable (Disclaimer:AB performance in WC year not always applicable). Trick is to get them on the back foot. Smack 'em up hard, run in a couple of tries, then hold the ball. Of course, the trick is getting to that point first
