star-citizen-alpha-3-7-0e-ptu-3085613-patch-notes Excerpts: Known Issues The Argo MPUV and Drake Caterpillar can spin uncontrollably after taking off. FOIP does not show unless the player is speaking in direct calls. Some caves may have underwater effects. There's a large rectangular area missing from the surface of Daymar around one of the caves. Multiple scope crosshairs are off center when viewed in ADS. Corpses at derelicts are hidden under objects or hull. The probes in the destroy probe mission will sometimes teleport ot map origin, preventing completion. The delivery lockers at Tease Spaceport and L13 Metro do not distribute mission packages. Players may crash when loading into the industrial hangar. Players may crash when changing hair back to original when using the character customizer. Ships may display as rented if the player exits to title while a claim is in progress. If the player unequips the undersuit in Star Marine the body will have various graphical issues. The reformation distortion scattergun currently has a blue light texture issue. The default hair may be present under other hairstyles. If you leave and reenter the commodity kiosk the "sell" tab icons will remain even though you are on the "buy" tab. Bug Fixes Pacheco should be seated properly. Players should no longer see HUR-L2 on the Starmap. The MPUV should no longer front flip when taking off. Targeting and missile brackets should now appear properly for all ground vehicles. Fuel consumption and thruster heat generation should no longer occur during quantum travel when entering decoupled. The Reliant pilot seat should no longer be missing textures. There should no longer be a texture blocking the view in the Hurricane. The ladder on the Buccaneer should now have collision. Fixed incorrect exterior turret materials on the Caterpillar. Volumetric fog should no longer pop off and on in caves. Bodies in cave should no longer be T-posed. Objectives should properly update and be given locations for Scramble Race missions. There should no longer occasionally be a "team setup" window present on the main menu.

And they literally spell out Press 'Right Bracket' to accept | Press 'Left Bracket' to decline. For something that you'd need to decide in seconds. These are extra good bonus decisions because the BDSSE that will change gaming forever will definitely never need to be localized. Because CI is incompetent.

With all the drama happening in US of A politics, I have fallen back on my Star Citizen reading/shitposting. I am happy to say I haven't missed anything. This is insane even by the standards of the faithful. I feel like in 100 years this will be in textbooks as an example of the failure of contemporary society and how it led to X. Something like learning about WW1-WW2. A story of how degenerate commercialism led to the 21st century equivalent of WW 1/2.

Also I have to lol forever that GTA: San Andreas had character customization that's basically on-par with (if not better than) CI!G, and San Andreas is now a 15 year old game. Yeah the game was way ahead of its time when it came out, but that just means Chris should have told everyone to

I think the most damning evidence of Star Citizen's lack of quality is the fact that it's so aggressively unfun and bad that goons won't log on to play it even to grief one of the worst and most grief-deserving communities in the history of gaming. That's a bad game.

I get the distinct feeling that Vertisce suffers from a severe lack of imagination. It's the only explanation I can see for his inability to envision just how huge his downvote count would actually be if he really was as brigaded as he always claims. It would also explain why he can't quite grasp just how far game development has evolved since the early '90s, and why SC is so thoroughly antiquated in relation to all actual modern games…

Early 90's you say, try early 70's. To be fair Wing Commander is quite the jump from Computer Space, so maybe he thinks SC will be something similar.

Use a real deal damping grease for joysticks/throttles/input devices operated by (shaky) human muscles. Imagine, just imagine, if Game of thrones, Star Citizen, and the Trump presidency all imploded in the same year. Imagine it, it's really soothing to do I promise. So many parallels can be drawn between these things I think they are all a symptom of the same human-conditional failure. A combination of toxic individualism, being unable to admit that one is wrong, insecurity and wanting to feel like a part of a group or cause, all set against a backdrop of genuine and justified - but misdirected when it comes to identifying the causes - feelings of having been left behind by society. Then as a result of all of these factors coming together, imagine instead of just, y'know, coping with it and getting on with your poo poo, diving insanely into a ridiculous thing that exists only to use and exploit, defending and lionising it every step of the way as it becomes part of your false-yet-core identity. Just imagine that.

SC in a nut shell.... They have failed to kick so many goals... even devout backers don't even believe their targets any more. Yet somehow still believe this time will be different, or that the goal will be finally be kicked and its worth more for the wait.... The development is open so we all understand why targets keep shifting to the right ?
