Playing this game is still silly fun, even in my 'middle of nowhere less than 1000 people town' in Iowa. Few stops, few gyms. I knocked one over for a day and got about 55 coins. Even out here people still play this, apparently.

Need friends though. I've got like 10 gifts and no one to give them to. (My IRL friends are lazy bums that don't want to reinstall this on their phones.)

So here. I got 0644 9450 8938. If anyone wants me to spam gifts at them go ahead and add.

I'm fairly sure you don't start getting max revives and potions until level 30, but once you do it makes healing easier.

Before team rocket I was trashing most of my healing items.

this is ... maybe changing? they're rolling out stop submission in pogo but it's country by country and level 40 locked. and the list of countries where you can is about three items long.

Well yes and no. They are introducing stop submissions to Pokemon Go, but not stop approval. This means some stop suggestions sit around for absolutely forever because they still require Ingress players to approve them. It's awful.

I'm level 27 and get Max Potions. Max revives might be level 30 though as I've never had one.

How successful is anyone challenging a far away best friend you don't know personally, as I have the "win against another trainer 7 times" task? Just tap "battle" and hope they respond? How timely is the "Friend received 5 items from your gift" or sent you a gift, meaning they're on and playing right then? Don't do trainer battles much as I don't have many local PoGo friends.

Also a huge thank you to all my long time far away friends as I had quite a few pokemon from eggs to trade that were more than 10,000 km away (Shortkate1 in game).
Goon trainers are the best trainers!

I usually bring my Smack Down Ttar and have a Magnezone for backup in case the last slot is Gyarados.

I would join the discord in the OP and ask if someone can win-trade with you. That's probably your best bet there.

1) screenshot your trainer QR code
2) have pokefriend scan said QR code off their computer
3) battle

I had to do the same and it worked for us, but you need to be pretty quick with the send-and-scan, since they seem to refresh quite quickly.we were separated by several kilometers at the time.

This is still doable with SD tyranitars, get your free attacks in when the Gyarados enters the arena, then launch SE should almost one shot it. Poliwrath is the tough one if it shows up int he 2 spot

Essentially "around randomly". You can use certain tools to narrow it down but YMMV as far as actual success rates go, since as with many things Niantic puts out it's not "meant" to be exact.

If you're in an area with pokestops that all gets replaced with "here's the pokestop this thing is nearby", which is far more accurate. The grass thing is just the barest of nods to rural players.

The tracking tool is okay but it'll basically immediately mislead you if there's >1 of the pokemon you're hunting nearby and there's no way to tell if that's the case

The city I live in is also making a bid to Niantic, for any event. I'm so happy to live in a smaller city that still has a large Pogo community - I can find a group to do a raid any time. My phone broke & a random from the discord lent me one to use while it got repaired. We all took on Spanish penpals to help distribute the seviper/zangoose love.
