This guy runs a label (Silent Season) that does a lot of that kind of stuff, and also some ambient techno stuff as well. I would definitely follow him on SoundCloud if you use it. Does Com Truise count? Because he just put out an album like a week ago that's more electronic than straight ambient but has some tracks that are chill as gently caress. It's not going to put you to sleep, but it could definitely work as good background music (or driving music, probably).
