Don’t know that taking the 3 was the correct option there.

Lovely subtle bit of blocking by England there.

Meanwhile, Australia's kicking game is woeful

Australia deserve to lose just because of their stupidity in their own 22. Why play it so much? Why chip kick? Just hoof it down the field.

Actual clearance. Well done Australia.

Australian forwards doing very well against the English pack but they're still 11 down.

England must be chuffed to bollocks with that half time score. No tires conceded and two on the board, great stuff for them. Still Australia could pull it out in the second half. They had a great second half against Wales. EDIT: When you've got so many power runners just smash it up at pace and the defence will quickly run out of defenders.

Australia have actually been pretty threatening. I am not feeling all that confident

That was a good try, amazing pass to release Koribeti there.

England very much did not want that.

Hmmm. I was just writing a post about kicking away advantage ball, but it somehow worked for them.

A gap so massive Sinckler swans through and trots over. Abysmal defending.

So do Genia and Lealiifano just hate Australian rugby or something?

Shameful restart.

I have no idea what this game is. It feels like a big match, but it seems like both teams have avoided the "let's win the hard collisions, keep it tight" talk and just thought "gently caress it!" In a way it's a fun game. Not an entertaining game(all though I am entertained,) for technical reasons, or skill reasons, but like the teams have wanted to make it joyful. I've never seen anything like it.

surely England gets carded soon if these penalties keep up.

England holding out there was huge.

Pretty sure I’m yet to see an English player support their own weight in a ruck, yet not be called for it. French refs.

Australia are doing their best impression of Scotland, all slow ball and errors. Hopefully now Genia’s off that might improve

Australian hands just aren't good enough to keep hold of the ball.
