It's funny...

You were so scary at night.

I was wondering if this would finally be the adaptation of Moore's work that he doesn't hate but I guess he proactively asked Lindelof to leave his name out of the credits and promo material so good luck with that.

Like most adaptations of his work, I doubt he ever even ends up watching it. But yeah, it's just Dave Gibbons that's credited.

This shit's about to go off.
The IRL 7th Cavalry were also famous for Custer’s last stand and the massacre at Wounded Knee so there’s also the genocidal angle.

Even so that’s a loving hell of a reference.

EDIT: Since Prime lets you stream HBO’s TV feeds if you’re subscribed to them, I think I’ll be watching something live for the first time in quite a while tonight.

Do you have to subscribe to HBO through prime or can I somehow login to my Xfinity account through prime video to activate it, it's not immediately obvious how to if so. Apple TV if that matters.

You have to subscribe to HBO through prime to use the prime app.

You can add your HBO details into the Apple TV though and it SHOULD let you watch it without using the HBOGO app (which is loving garbage). Someone in the Apple TV thread pointed this out and said that the picture quality is substantially better vs the GO app and about on par with the prime app.

That's been his standing policy for a while now and doesn't say anything about the quality of the work. He's been burned too many times with people telling the press that "oh yeah, Alan is totally on board with the movie and loves it" and so he decided to just remove himself from the equation. This is actually a better deal for the artist because they get his share of the money (which is never very much because these aren't creator owned properties.)

Yes the third and final season was amazing.

Do I need to go back and re-watch the second season before starting the third? Because I don't remember all the minor details. There were those weird visions that Kevin kept having and Patty kept re-appearing but then gets killed again? Does any of this matter when going into the third season? Should I just rewatch the whole goddamn show?

I'll be honest and say if you bounced off the first two seasons I wouldn't bother. I can understand why people wouldn't like the show and I can say its not for everyone. I was pretty invested going into the third season.

A lot of things do come back around and start to make sense in the end though so it depends on how much you remember.

OK I think I've missed it but does the show cover the comic or is it a sequel?

I really don't want to spoiler anything but I'm just trying to figure out if its a completely new story or an adaption of the comic.

It's supposed to be a sequel in spirit but with some alternate outcomes of the original, so it may be best to consider it a 'what if', or slightly alternate timeline. From the comic.

ok thanks!
