tdm feels like the Correct Mode nicely spreads the action out all over the map and makes the pace less frantic but still far from slow also makes more weapons viable than solely the xrk m4

We found the recoil for that gun to be really bad, actually. Like more than the default Kilo 141 with no grip.

Anyone play the map where it’s a bridge cutting the map in half? I got matched into it last night once on TDM and it was already going and it was 80 percent snipers. I never even made it to the other side of the map. It was rough.

The mission where you play as the kid stood out as particularly bad to me. The campaign wasn't terrible... but it had a lot of really questionable choices. Even just little poo poo like near the end you get in the back of a van and there's a LMG to pick up. I instantly thought oh poo poo a car chase mission, nope, just a short defense section and then it ends.

I'm having super much fun playing this game Call of Duty, guys! It has a real just-one-more-match-before-I-stop thing going on. And it plays super smooth and nice for a game that's just out, no weirdness or connection issues so far for me on the ps4.

I like that it is way slower than Black Ops. It is on par with Battlefield now imo where you can switch between aggressive flanking and more passive “let em come and kill cheaply” styIes. I got several 5-Kill-Streaks by crouching around corners, listening to the footsteps and halfway camping  Be prepared for the whining over footstep/audio “exploiting” or some poo poo of the tryhards who want that nerfed.

That's been a key element of call of duty since at least cod4, when I started playing. Using dead silence to kill your own footstep noise is a perk for a reason. Nobody should be complaining about it.

In the custom game lobby everything is unlocked by default. You can cobble together some sick guns, the number of unlock is impressive. Sniper revolver  Phallic compensation deagle  Sci-fi P90 that would be the envy of the stargate crew  Vintage futuristic MG34 with thermal scope, feels like putting a AESA radar on a Spitfire...  2 AK branch, one is the AK74 from COD4

The Embedded mission is great because the entire thing is based on a violation of the Geneva Conventions (cannot dress as a civilian while in an active combat role) so they have to make the Russians so cartoonishly evil that you feel justified in shooting them. I threw a grenade after opening a door during the night mission where you infiltrate the 3 story house and got the message “Children are non combatants” and game overed. Restarting the mission and playing through there was a baby in a crib in one of the rooms. Why even put a baby in ur military murder game?
