actual playable tutorial mode, challenge missions that have you do things like build the biggest chain possible in 30 seconds or fight AIs that cheat, gimmick modes that are dumb but fun, instead of a story mode they have basically arcade mode with cutscenes. PPT and champions are just really lacking in comparison.

the RPG mode is pretty bad and they cut some stuff from the "base" 20th game to make room for it

Yeah I liked the story in PPT but none of the single player missions were interesting gameplay wise. And I get to do them again on PC now, at least until I get my main unlocked.

what ultimately did it for me in ppt was when i consistently hit higher scores on puyo stages when i didn’t touch the controller than when i was actively playing. that loving kills a game.

For the last month or so we’ve been having a weekly puyo (sometimes Tetris) party in the iz fgc discord. Games range from Puyo Puyo champions on switch to the browser based jstris. Would there be interest in expanding this to imp zone posters not in the discord?
