Yeah, why not just have Tessa win the X-title and use Option C to force Sami to defend the world title against her? It'd be clever and let Sami be a bitch heel who tries to duck her but can't, and explains her getting a shot after losing to him last time. This way she lost her last match with Callihan AND lost a title match on PPV.

Yeah, I liked the Option C idea. It makes Tessa look intelligent and resourceful and that she really worked to get herself into that position instead of just a hot angle. I mean, maybe they're trying to give her a journey with some setbacks and her plugging away and fighting her way up. Its not a terrible idea on paper. But the repeated false starts aren't helping them with people not really watching the product but just paying attention to find out if they pull the trigger. I feel like this is gonna end up like the Aces & Eights story. A perfectly good narrative on paper, but too drawn out for anyone to be able to appreciate it. Still, if it ends wth Tessa as World Champion it will get them attention.
