Veneers are fine, but you have to select a size and shade for the teeth that looks natural. Correctly-done veneers just look like really good teeth. The problem with those two is that, while they went with correctly-sized veneers, they went for the most blindingly-white shade they could, which looks artificial and jarring as gently caress. They're also unnaturally perfect, even more perfect than braces-corrected teeth, since they are all perfectly level and have no variations or imperfections in their shape.
