Well that's a thing. Was there really any other way this would end? It wasn't even his most vile comments that led to him being let go. Just the most out of touch with the social mores. I'm certainly not sorry to see him go after that, but man it's a little sad to see such an institution dumped so unceremoniously. Perhaps it would have been best he'd been quietly let go over the summer like it was rumoured. I can't wait to see the agonizingly awkward Ron McLean "apology" and explanation during next week's broadcast. That and Don's next interview which will definitely include the phrases "too sensitive" and "PC leftists." RIP coach's corner.
