Dang, they're really going hard on the increased damage from counter hits huh? Honestly I'm sort of all for increasing damage, the speed of bbtag rounds with how insane the damage output can be is one of my favorite parts of the game. It really is going to feel crazy different in that case though compared to xrd I'm cautiously optimistic about GG2020, though I really don't understand why they'd change the gatling system.

I genuinely didn't know if Zun was creepy or not, and for some reason I was convinced the fanbase was. That opinion was also formed forever ago and I've never been a fan (besides for the song Innocent Treasures which is the ultimate hype song), so I guess I'm fortunately wrong.

I mean there's weirdo segments of the fanbase but that's true of any fanbase, nothing in the canon material really encourages that besides being a series with a lot of girls in it, but it's not like the canon material ever really sexualizes them, and considering the appeal with girls and lesbians, it's also pretty obvious that that has benefits to people who aren't weirdos, too. Like, a ton of currently active lesbian manga artists got their starts doing Touhou doujins and such, it's got legitimate value in that direction.
