Took me months to get around to it but drat, the new False album is excellent. I kinda wish the vocals weren't so over-distorted but it's a nitpick more than an actual complaint. i went through the NWN bandcamp and noticed that they're releasing some of the material Wrest recorded for Lurker of Chalice but never released. https://nuclearwarnowproductions.bandcamp.com/album/tellurian-slaked-furnace It looks good but the rumour was that he had recorded four albums in total so the mf is still holding out

I've been relistening to Altar of Perversion's Intra Naos which came out last year and I think it's really quite good. I was a bit sceptical at first because it's like 2 hours long and almost no metal band is any good at sustaining themselves for that long.. but this really does reward repeat listening I think https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R5OOj76jH0o
