I was squeezing past the budget PC game racks from 2004, the ones with the weird ugly white box art from re-release companies like Sold-Out, when I saw one that had a stock image of Big Bird against a white background and its title in rainbow letters was "DESTROY Dave's big hole!" I sniggered and said that sounded rude and my friend told me to grow up. Then we went into the next part of the shop and it was a Swarovski and I thought that was a bit weird.

Dreamed I was playing Smash Bros with a guy I knew from college. I played Yoshi and completely destroyed him even though I was just spamming a ground pound and hadn't played Smash in years. No matter what he did he couldn't get a single stock off me and it reached the point where I was over 900% damage yet I was still barely knocked around at all by his attacks. It was pretty nice, since I didn't like him very much.

Then I realised I hadn't camped for ages and my characters would be starving, because you can only feed them at camp, so I frantically looked through the menu and my only party member was my dog. he had zero HP and his title was "dead because of you" and the priest wouldn't bring him back because his spirit was too sad to return to me.

Last night I dreamed I was playing Death Stranding and I walked past a weird giant black door in the side of a mountain and a woman’s voice was calling out from inside. She said that it was a casino and I should come in and gamble. Somehow I instinctively knew that it was actually the G-Man from Half-Life trying to trick me so I sprinted away but the camera was still pointing towards the door and I fell off a giant cliff and woke up.

Was reading before bed about the gym battles in the new Pokemon and how they're set in big football stadiums with a crowd reacting, going wild and acting dynamically depending on how the fight is progressing. Nodded off and had a dream about them but I got to the end of the fight and things got so exciting/overwhelming that the crowd went wild and caused the Hillsborough Disaster
