As you said the Atlantic has been doing a good job on covering this whole situation. Outside of one or two very prominent stories, the only person who consistently did real deal investigative journalism in the sports world was Diana Moskovitz and her beat was mostly sexual assault and gender issues. When the site started shifting how they cover things 5+ years ago they needed more people like her and less bloggers. Honestly, Diana and Dom are the only two writers whose work I truly miss there. Like you said the Atlantic has been doing a good job of covering this (and basically everything they cover, they're worth the money).
