Even getting passed the intense debate about dice fairness, it is a bizarre thread about a bizarre company that: - does nothing other than buying dice from manufacturers, packaging, and selling them - does not test their dice, the only thing they sell, their entire core business, nor seems interested in doing so - does not make it easy to order their dice through their website - doesn't have a store locator so you can tell where to get their dice - acknowledges that there are many resellers of their dice on popular marketplaces like Amazon and Ebay - that they are not affiliated with at all - and take 30 employees to do this  (USER WAS PUT ON PROBATION FOR THIS POST)

You'd think they could make some sort of Dice rolling machine. Put it in a vacuum sealed chamber and record the rolls! Done and done. Why would calipers be so bad though? At least you'd know the item is the correct dimensions. Anyway I'm off to buy some lovely dice thanks thread!

After knowing the dimensions you still don't know the relative weights of the sides, so you don't have a complete picture of how it rolls.

Each die surface must be meticulously scanned with an electron microscope and that data is then fed into a complex modeling system that runs 12,000,000 simulated throws per second. Once they pass that test, a complete density scan is taken to ensure that any pockets of micro-gaps are within tolerable RNG boundaries.

Apparently there is demand for their cheap but functional dice sets but you need to call them up on the phone, or email them your credit card number with what you want just typed out.  that's so loving bizarre lmao seriously thats how you buy from them online. the person posting in the thread started talking in a facebook group and a big question was if they would ever do single orders instead of bulk orders because of the arcane email process, people thought they only did bulk sales to retailers. And the thing is, they actually make more money on individual sales directly to the consumer rather than bulk dealer sales but they're actively scaring people off from ordering that way.like just set up a squarespace account (use promo code bbogbs to get 10% off ur next website) and start taking pictures of poo poo with a cellphone like next to zero web presence when your customer base has to be exclusively nerds is sooo loving weird.
