c apple s: got a nice new 4K monitor for my 2018 Mackintosh Miniature... and the mini has no displayport ports, and i don't have a USB-C to displayport cable  i have a usb-c/thunderbolt 3 to thunderbolt 2 adapter, but it doesn't bring out the displayport signal, only thunderbolt the monitor also has HDMI input, but the mac mini's HDMI output isn't MHL or some loving acronym word salad bullshit, and so it works poorly for about 5 seconds and then drops the display hope best buy has usb-c to displayport cables in stock tomorrow
