My wordpress that I haven't updated in like 4 years. Ouch that's not cool. https://scutanddestroy.wordpress.com/
My twitter that I do update. Probably best to click my 'media' tab if you want to skip a bunch of leftist retweets. https://twitter.com/scutanddestroy

There are virtually no games you can play with my art. Most indie projects don't make it to release and I can't code. Hopefully some day...
Also thank you for liking my stuff!

Great sprites and animation. The dust puffs are also good for indicating to a player's peripheral vision that an enemy is charging you.

The fact the puffs layer over the top of the enemy looks a bit odd, though.

I have a new favorite piece ever - a slight change of pace, but not if you consider that the 'Find Steed' spell is intentionally vaguely worded.

Edit - Added another, incase your tastes run more infernal than celestial.

Working on other summonable entities - Flaming and Watery Spheres. I like most of 'em, but I'm still going to rework the textures - ther overall style and palette are set though, now it's just a ton of cleanup and tweaking.

Thanks! I'm changing the texture and for a little bit, but overall I'm really happy with it.

The flaming sphere still reads really flat, though. I'm wracking my brain to try to figure out a way to make it read more three dimensional.

Spiritual Weapon Incarnations! I've got a bunch of different palette swapped colors as well on the site. I'll probably add some more as inspiration strikes. The stein is a personal favorite.

Cheers. They are fatal during the second stage because the size disables the monster so it dies of starvation.

Man, seeing these in a game would be amazing. But I guess animating in this quality would take forever. How long does it take to make one of these?

Usually around 8-9 hours from start to finish, but spread out over a few days. And as cool as it would be, I definitely don't have the time to animate them :(

Been trying my hand at smaller tiles/sprites after playing a few roguelikes and wondered if i could maybe make a bare approximation/attempt at one (16x16 this time):

(Increased image's size by x4 for readability's sake)

I tried to make the tiles as simple as possible although the sprites are a bit more busy

Sprites look good. I might suggest reducing the contrast of the terrain tiles so that the sprites will automatically be easier to spot.
