I like the Battlestar Galactica one. Also all the other ones mentioned here, Except the Arrow one. That one sucks. Also Siberia was technically an entire show of this, and it loving ruled. Also technically true of The Office, Parks and Rec...

It was a neat gimmick that was promptly dropped like 15-20 minutes in and then it was just a normal episode of Arrow. At the end they zoom out and pretend that oh yeah the rest was still totally the documentary even if it was not shot like the beginning at all by having Mia and Connor watch it in the future. I think that was the episode where the flash-forwards started, actually, iirc.

Power Rangers RPM had a fun one too, where they did a kid friendly behind the scenes where they showed off how they do explosions, while staying in character. Only really pseudo-documentary but it was still real good. It ended with the cast watching the episode they shot.

I visited the DC offices about 2 years ago thanks to a friend of a friend. We've kept in contact with our host and she works in the DCC dept and she said they keep pushing for a Beebo doll and it keeps getting shot down.
