it’s quite weird the sensation when you use a
proper microscope and it’s beaming the image onto your retina but that’s how I want to see the latest U2 live concert video

they can probably unlock it if Apple refuses, but they'd prefer a precedent so they can force it next time they wanna snoop on innocents

I was just given a 15'' MBP Retina from mid 2012 and I can say it is quite nice to have. The only issue is that the battery dies within an hour and to replace it yourself is a nightmare. Having someone else do it looks like it might run me between 160 - 250 euros.

what? it's 10 screws on the base and like 3 on the battery itself, are you afraid of screwdrivers or something?

that's a good price, unless your money is worth significantly more than ours, or it's full of fire ants or something.

you're gonna want to put an ssd in there though

it's baffling to me why apple doesn't take the panel from the 5k imac and build a good display housing around it (i.e. not like the lg 5k display that doesn't work if it's near your wifi router)

the pivot is to move away from competing with commodity monitors and sell super-expensive monitors that can’t be replaced with an equivalent Dell that’s 50% cheaper.
