man i thought the biggest thing i'd see today was the end of chapter 6 of tokyo xanadu chapter 6 of tokyo xanadu is really good btw i thought the game was kinda losing steam before it but it picked back up real hard. i feel energized to finish the last few chapters and hopefully get the epilogue

it is but they're basically different games also i'm not responsible for your thoughts on cold steel but as someone who does like cold steel i think tokyo xanadu is a fairly simple story that's really good at nailing catharsis and fun character writing

the expand a bit memories of celceta is a remake of the snes ys iv which is kind of a mediocre game and celceta still takes some notable divergences from the original, and there is also an entirely separate ys iv pc engine game that celceta does not follow at all and is generally considered way better than the snes ys iv

Thank god they pin the current story quest right to your main screen so I know what to do next after not playing for a year.

imo even though ARR is the weakest part of XIV it still has some nice moments and charming writing and a lot of it is called back to in later content in interesting ways, so it's not ideal to skip it all still looking forward to whenever they squash that content so new players dont have to wait 80 hours to get to the good part lmao

They're streamlining 2.x in 6 months if you want an excuse to wait. Game's really good from Heavensward on. Also don't skip the cutscenes because the writing is half the reason FF14 is good.

Nobody likes this drama boiling over into their subforums, but the current issue is that if you reopen QCS with the same infrastructure in place, it's just going to lead to more unstructured drama and fighting without any form of constructive dialogue. A new QCS is being worked on and we hope to have it out as quickly as possible. We understand all of the legitimate frustrations posters are having with the current state of affairs. However, unless the issues at hand are urgent matters regarding somebody's privacy or well being, we ask that all of the posters please have a little bit more patience. The forums won't burn down in a day because someone couldn't address your needs right away. All of the staff are unpaid volunteers who work to help the SA staff in their free time; this is not a job for them, and they've been feeling a lot of pressure as it seems like once one fire is put out, two more spring up. However, if any of you do have legitimate concerns or even if you just want to ask some earnest questions, do not hesitate to message me or Wark Say, either through PMs, Discord, or by email at julias01sa@yahoo.com I can't guarantee I'll be able to answer right away due to work and real life circumstances, but I'll make a concerted effort to try to address any issues to the fullest extent that I can.
