Stevie Lee posted:so uhh....is this normal for the survey app? In theory anyone who pays for it can use the survey app to publish surveys. In practice it's usually Google's. You got one of the actual paying customers' surveys.

My tablet has a feature called Magazine Unlock that lets you add images you choose, then changes the wallpaper on the lockscreen every time you wake it up. It's a neat feature, and I'd like something like that for my phone. Is there an app that will let me do it for the lockscreen? I can find all kinds of Live Wallpapers for the phone "desktop", but nothing for the lockscreen.

Still wondering about this. I've fiddled around with various settings to see if something is causing it, but haven't had any luck.

It looked like a great solution, and it was easy to set up, but it didn't do anything to my lockscreen. After reading reviews, it turns out that I'm out of luck since my phone is a Samsung, and Sumsung doesn't allow live wallpapers on the lockscreen. Thanks, Samsung.

Is there a way to get bandcamp links to open in the bandcamp app instead of Chrome? Basically, I am "following" a bunch of bands and labels, I get emails about new releases, click the link in the email, and get a web page in Chrome. I have to open the bandcamp app manually and do a search for the release to listen to it. (listening in Chrome is a bad experience as it likes to time out with the screen off and phone in my pocket)

Is there an app that will block all non-contact numbers from a certain area code? I get at least two spam calls a day (it's gotten worse lately). Almost all of them are from my phone's area code. Because the numbers are spoofed to be random each time, blocking and reporting as spam apparently does nothing. But I don't live in the same area code as my phone number any longer, so I know that any call with that area code that isn't already in my contacts must be spam. Is this possible? If it is possible, is it doable without resorting to a custom dialer app? I'm on a stock Pixel 3, and would prefer to keep using the stock Android dialer.

I've been using YouMail for about a year now and it's made my phone-having experience much better. It stops the numbers that are spoofed to match the first 3 digits of your phone number after the area code.

Do those blocking phone apps have to replace your dialer app to function properly or one where you can still use your stock dialer to make calls? I use Should I Answer as my spam blocker and the few times I have to answer or make a call, that app and my stock dialer app try to keep overriding each other.
