Using it in GL is so much fun since every room has a slide spot where you can just roll around with the spinball attack and get that delicious stun sound a million times.

Yeah lance is good. Unrelated I had a weird dream where I was hunting in the ruins of an American city with a bunch of other ragtag anti-monster resistance fighters and I had a zorah magdaros hbg. I was trying to snipe a distracted deviljho when a great jagras and a paolumu shimmied up to the balcony I was on and I ran for my life. I blame the content of the dream on the dumb joke I made here but for my in-dream cowardice I can only blame myself or God.

Wow the critboost skill says it gives 30% critical damage at 1 point, 35 at 2, and 40 at 3 points, so you would think one point investment is best. But your base is actually 25%, each point is +5%. That's not very clear lol

Yeah it's still real strong, and it's also worth noting it doesn't actually do anything for elemental or status attacks, only physical damage

it reminds me of destiny where you'd just kind of randomly wander around the map and every once in a while run into other players and enemies. it'd be cool if in MHW2 you could actually run into a playing SOSing for help out in the middle of nowhere instead of explicitly having to search for them

I think just buying the expansion unlocks a few things that will be available from the beginning, such as the clutch claw. So if you're planning on getting it eventually anyway might as well go for it now.

I think the defender set might also be tied to the expansion? Nice set to get you up to the expansion faster if you’re a monster hunter veteran.
