Saw the new Guy Ritchie movie and while it has fun moments the unnecessarily complicated structure hurts and creates this barrier to connecting to any of the characters.

I have AMC A-List but it's definitely still worth going to arthouses for movies that AMC's not gonna pick up.

Like I saw Mandy at a local arthouse, and I'm glad I did because that movie loving ruled and AMC never showed it.

In very confusing movie news I saw a trailer for the sequel to The Boy where the premise is the doll is haunted which was not the premise of the first movie.

Could be a fakeout for people who didn't see the first one where haunted doll was how Netflix pitched it to me

Taking notes from Disney? Like "Skywalker Saga" didn't used to be a term right?

They use it in the recently released teaser trailer so maybe that's actually the name of the movie? They're kind of running out of ways to say "Fast" and "Furious" in titles.

They've really been trying to make that necklace a "thing" for multiple movies but I just don't think it is connecting with anyone.

Fast 9 makes me think a lot about dead actors cuz digital Paul Walker was so well done versus the Poochie-I-have-to-go-now nonsense they did with Leia in Star 9

ironic since Paul played a brain in a jar via Tammy and the T-rex lol

Probably the funniest thing they ever did in the FF franchise was when they tried to claim that Vin Diesel (52) went to high school at the same times as Michelle Rodriguez (41.)

Hobbs and Shaw one-upped this by having Jason Statham (52) as Vanessa Kirby’s (31) older brother and showing flashbacks to them doing hijinks as similarly-aged children.

I find that they didn't tell Michelle Rodriguez they were bringing her character back to life for 6 until after she saw her character in the stinger at the end of 5 pretty funny. Also that she went to see Fast 5 in theaters even tho her character died in 4.
