I’m watching the EF Gone Racing series and I never realized that TJ’s fuckup at the Tour of CA was due to to Lachland’s bike brakes being opposite for him. At least it wasn’t on a big rear end descent.

Froome. He's got better odds of a rider getting implicated in Operation Aderlass and bumping up to a post-facto stage win.

Bjarne Riis to take (part) ownership of NTT and is now back on the world tour.

Riis made me understand Armstrong fans. He (Riis) was certainly one of my heroes and while he doped, I keep excusing it with "well, everyone else was doping too!!!" (Even though I know it's still wrong).

Riis is probably a level beyond Armstrong since he apparently* encouraged his riders to dope as a DS at CSC

Let's be honest, Johan Bruyneel wasn't really in the driver seat at US Postal and US Postal was doping beyond a level of anyone else because Armstrong misjudged the sophistication of the other teams doping programs*.

*This was touched upon by Floyd Landis IIRC, who was amazed at the amateurish level of doping at other teams after he left US Postal.

Lol if Mitchelton and Trek gently caress this and hand GC over to Rosskopf.

Edit: Bah, the break simply just disintegrated.

He had teammates left, Stybar was in the leading group and fell back to help him catch up. Still super impressive.

In other superhuman young bike lad news, van der Poel became CX world champion again. He basically rode away from everyone at the start and they never saw him again. 1min+ gap before the race was halfway lol
