I mean I think it's a good thing, but primarily because hardware capable of playing on after all these years seems like a perfectly normal thing to keep using, especially if the games don't require real-time VR level graphics? In contrast my Xbox One hasn't been turned on in years because gently caress-all was released for it and the exclusives all kinda sucked, to be honest. I use the PS4, Switch and PC - I only even remember I bought that Xbox One in times like this as the dumbest purchase I made in that generation. Whereas my sister had a PSP and only stopped using it a few years ago when I gave her a Vita as present.

On the other hand, not challenging incorrect opinions to some degree also grants to people to post negative criticisms in such a way that fans of the thing being criticized might feel like they are alone when no one else speaks up; by speaking up you encourage others to also speak up. If anything people should take every opportunity to fill their discussion spaces with positivity and friendship.
