I was hoping Jojo Rabbit would win some more awards, but apparently critics are super divided about it for some reason. I am tempted to just read the entire plot of Parasite, none of the previous movies I have seen from Bong Joon-ho have really done anything for me, and nobody can seemingly explain the plot of the movie.

If you really have to know SOMETHING: it’s about a rich family and a poor family. okay go see it I liked but didn’t love Snowpiercer and Okja but think Parasite is a masterpiece fwiw. Haven’t seen any of Bing’s other Korean films but I definitely will soon

Watched all of Raven's Banquet on Apple Plus, and uhhh. This show isnt funny, but I get the sense that it was going for a drama vibe rather than comedy vibe. Certainly the fifth episode is a straight up Jake Johnson / Christin Miloti vehicle that barely relates to anything else. It's good, but not what it's advertised as being. And a little corny.

An HBO miniseries remake of Parasite would absolutely win the Emmy. They would almost certainly change the title though.
