The STAP's just a standing speeder bike, built for recon over speed. It fits with the battle droid aesthetic and also resembles a real-rear end vehicle. It's not a starfighter but since personal transports seen to be fair game in here, I find it kinda interesting that no one seems to remember that the AT-PT exists. And I loving hate them. I failed the stupidass Rogue Squadron mission where you escort a few of them so many goddamn times.
