Its obviously not funny and Timothy Hutton is one of those that kind of is gonna hurt my future rewatch library but the guy who plays the creepy rape doctor in the creepy rape show turning out to be a creepy rapist is... I dunno. edit: Although Hutton claims she tried to extort him with it first and threatened to accuse him publicly if he didn't pay, and that he contacted the FBI about it and filed a criminal complaint. They also claim Buzzfeed knew about the criminal complaint and chose not to mention it. I mean as was brought up when LJS posted that, in Tyson's case he's the only person really brought up in this thread that faced real consequences, made an actual effort to make amends and has been open about his wrongdoing. I also haven't heard anything against him for like ten-fifteen years now so it seems to be sincere.

People only vaguely know about him, and he's got a credible and compelling story, so if you don't know how many times he's pulled this poo poo, you'll get suckered. And then someone who didn't see this episode and only knows about the drama behind The Two Coreys will get suckered by the next one. It would have been much smarter to just cancel with no explanation and instead just vaguely imply that his lawyers have advised him not to make any statement at this time rather than this theatrical poo poo, but this is the sort of grift you don't have to try that hard with.
