Current Value's SENEX album is pretty cool, I think Deadly Toys and PUER might be a bit better overall, but some really cool tracks on it anyway.

I also really like what Circuits has been putting out.

Agreed re SENEX LP. It's good but not as great as Deadly Toys.

Talking of Current Value, I was looking at their back catalogue recently and they've appeared on more labels than probably any other producer. Discogs has 133 releases listed for them across 45 different labels.

Tonight I'll be heading over to Trattoria Tranzit for #TDotLove episode 197, a Valentine's Day special wherein master chefs and badman selectors Mr. Brown and Tranzit go head to head in the kitchen and behind the decks. I'm on supporting duty with the man like DJ Houdini, and I'll be playing some lovers' rock liquid appropriate for your gross public displays of affection, or maybe some brooding minimal techstep appropriate for another V-Day alone. It depends how the food makes me feel. Lock in tonight at 8PM!!!

And the mercy seat is awaiting,
And I think my head is burning,
And in a way I'm yearning,
To be done with all this measuring of proof.
An eye for an eye
And a tooth for a tooth,
And anyway I told the truth,
And I'm not afraid to die.

I really like Metrik's 1st album off Hospital, Universal Language. I feel like a recent track that really sounds like Pendulum is Maduk's Colours https://youtu.be/ry9nqy_WJzM

Off that same label though I feel Boxplot has been impressing good. A lot of their songs sound somewhat similar, but I've found I really like their production style.

Bought a second Tech 12 after only having one for a few years. To celebrate I walked into Play De Record, Toronto's staple of electronic and hip-hop vinyl for like 30 years. Since they moved to the new location a few years ago, I haven't even set foot in the place, but I walked in yesterday and found these:

The Guerilla Warfare album is something I had - the DJ mix version of - on CD, many many years ago it was my first exposure to 'neurofunk' and it absolutely blew my mind. I'm so happy to have it in the form of unmixed singles, on vinyl no less.

Unfortunately one of my Shure carts either needs a new stylus, or worst-case Ontario I need to ditch the M44-7s and switch to something else as they don't make them anymore.

This new Keeno rules. He's got an atmospheric, classical DNB fusion track that he's more known for, but then a darker, dirtier tune for the B-side.

Does one of the guys in Document One play standup bass? I've heard it on a few of their tracks and it's always awesome. There's something about how those low notes rattle that's a lot like a twisty reese bass.
