 I was face timing with my fiancé when he put the phone on the bed for a min and walked away. Napoleon must have heard my voice and decided to investigate.  Here he is wiped out after our first hike/goose chase of the season. He was very happy to be back at his favorite park/woodland area. Edit: he is very much so the king of comfort and insists on lying on blankets/pillows/anything but bare floor

 When I got home tonight, Lando did several laps around my apartment in joy, in that weird way he does it with his back legs pushed down low in kind of a weird sprint-hop my wife and I call “goat leaps” because he looks like a deranged goat while doing it. I am so happy to be home with my boy; I was worried about not being able to make it home to him for a week or longer and him getting sad about wondering where his dad went (even though I know he loves his mom, he’s definitely very bonded to me.) Whatever happens with this COVID thing, at least I’m back with my good boy and my wife and we’ll all get through it together.  (only because we don’t have  yet)

I have a Pit Pat story. A few months my ago wife started a new office job, downtown. And since downtown parking is a mess and it was winter, we decided that I'd drive her to work every day, so she wouldn't have to walk several blocks in the snow, and it keeps me honest - I work from home, so it forces me to actually wake up in time for my own work login. When I go to pick her up, I take Pit Pat with me in the car. He literally hops in her lap when she gets in and is the most adorable. So, the reason for my story: Since we started doing that, whenever I take him out for a walk, he almost always goes to the car door, wags his tail and waits, thinking it's time to pick her up.  It's the sweetest thing. And I know it's about her, because when she's home, he doesn't do it. He knows 100% that getting in car is linked with getting to see her. And now she's home, because we all are. And he's curled up right next to her work chair on a second chair and the happiest little nugget he could be.
