I have normal brush, furminator, brush glove and a slicker. Both cats like them all pretty equally. Butters is just a unique case where she is still very scared but also really likes pets and scritches and you can only touch her if she's in her specific safe spots and even then if you get too close she'll flee. If I'm at the computer and dangle an arm she'll come over for exactly one butt scritch and then move away just out of reach and if I scoot closer or just turn to face her she runs away.

Its kinda frustrating since I just want to cuddle her because she's so very cute.

I've taken to playing hard with Glitch when she starts being annoying. Which is 2-3 times a day.

Da bird is the only thing she truly goes apeshit for, and by apeshit I mean I have to stop playing and hide the wand after fifteen minutes because she's panting like a dog and you can feel the heat radiating off her.

Can't be annoying when you're so exhausted you gotta nap.

if it helps anyone, moo refuses to eat food anywhere other than the couch
the food also has to be:

of room temperature
mixed in with dry kibble
it also must be kibble-forward
slightly chopped to allow easier biting and NO LICKING
