Hey, the newest Pixies album is actually kind of good. I'm always wary of bands reuniting after a long break and their first album after they got back together did nothing to convince me otherwise, but this one's alright. Not as good as their original run obviously, but I'd say it's worth a listen if you like them.

Man, first play through of the new Phantogram is real good. Could be some of their best.
I'm also on my first play through and I think this is one of my favorites of the year so far. Can definitely see myself listening to this over and over again.

Also, this makes it hit extra hard:

Nice. Thanks for this. Somber and chill.

Been listening to this group a bit - The Sonder Bombs Most of their stuff is punk but with a lot of ukulele, so this seemed like the perfect spot. These are my favorites. The first is one of their "harder" songs but I love the attitude.

Gotta buy my tickets for Chelsea Wolfe/ Emma Ruth Rundle and Hand Habits this week, but drat I can't wait.

So this snype isn't a worthless post: Hand Habits is super good and you should be listening to them all the time.

Following this up—I saw Hand Habits in someone's living room with about 40 other people, and it was so goddamn good. If you slept on Placeholder last year, you should check it out. If you like Julia Jacklin, Aldous Harding or Julien Baker, you'll probably really enjoy.
