 Every dozen or so pages Mookie actually moves things along at a decent pace and while it's nice I can't help but judge the massive waste of time pages harsher in retrospect.

Thinking about the last panel because I thought it was nice that there's a night sky, and looking at it you realise that the only thing that makes it nighttime is the background. There's no change in lighting, the buildings around them are drawn the exact same way they'd be on daytime. There's no shadows or light source, everything is just constantly bathing in constant light.
